Last year, if you remember, on April 1, we arranged such a fake installation of a coin, a Moldovan banuza. But in fact, we already had the monument, it was in the garage, but we could not get the initial permission to install it, it was very difficult. And here after a year and a half, beating the doorsteps of various government agencies, we were finally able to obtain permission to install this monument. And now, on the 580th anniversary of Chisinau, we are happy to present you a monument to the Moldovan national currency, a monument to a “Ban”.
Let’s see.
It is the smallest coin from Moldova, made in the size of 1k 1000. It is a thousand times larger than the real thing. Since 2013 they are not issued anymore. It is of great interest to numismatists, because it has an interesting feature. Its coat of arms, which is located on the back, turned 180 ° from the normal state and this coin is considered very rare. Whoever finds it can be proud of it and can sell it for a lot of money. We did this so people could be photographed on both sides of this coin. The question – why, why a coin? Asked why did you decide to install one banana in particular? What does it symbolize? And I would like to say that one bona fide coin is the smallest contribution that a citizen can make to the development of their country. By this monument, we would like to show that it is very important to invest in the country, as much as one can paint a tree, another may build a house, another may build, I do not know, a school, a large stadium. Everyone should do what they can and you should stop counting on others to make our lives happier and better. The government, investors, the European Union and Russia. We must change the country ourselves, and we must each invest in our beloved city, country and region as much as we can. It is very, very important. This coin is proof of what I say. Because it was made using the money of ordinary people. We have collected one ban for each submitted ad on the largest message board in Moldova. I would like to take the opportunity to say hello and to thank all the users of Moldnet. Thanks to them we were able to do such a great thing. And the confirmation of this, we wrote on our monument Ban pe ban-cladeste casa. This means that if we each take a sapa, each one goes into the yard, we can make our country better, brighter, more interesting and stronger. This is very important! And I would like to say that this project was made as part of our Chisinau is Me direction. It’s our project, in which we try to make our city, our country more beautiful, brighter, more interesting for tourists. We make different art objects, paint the walls, establish different monuments. And I would like to invite all willing young talented architects and designers. With ideas, how we can make our city more interesting to apply to us. And people who have the financial capacity to apply. So that we can all do such interesting things together. So, Chisinau is Me. Find us on the Internet. This is a public organization, not for profit at all
We just want to make our city beautiful.
